Dr. Susan Schneider is a biopharmaceutical executive leader and ophthalmologist with two decades of clinical development experience. With her extensive background, she provides hands on global support for development pipelines and organizational growth objectives.
Dr. Schneider has held a broad spectrum of pharmaceutical and biotechnology positions including Medical Director, Therapeutic Area Head, Medical Advisor, Senior Vice President Clinical Development Ophthalmology, and Chief Medical Officer. Most recently she served as Chief Medical Officer for AGTC. Dr. Schneider has been involved in four product launches at four different companies. Her contributions span the breadth of work and multiple phases of activity involved in the planning, strategy, and execution of pre-clinical and clinical studies require for successful research and development of viable drug therapies from IND through product approval.
